Hi All,
Iam facing High CPU hike issue around 90- 100 % Cpu hike on my SQL Server 2005 64 bit system.
Environment details :
SQL Server 2005 version: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.3042.00 (X64) Active Passive Cluster enabled
OS version: Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)
Even I see lots of the following error in sql error log:

I have taken these action as my next atep to trouble shoot the issue...Please guide me up as this is a Prod server with Active Passive cluster.
Run the
select * from sysprocesses.
System monitor
SQLServer-Lock Requests/sec
SQLServer-Memory Manager
Process-Private bytes
Process-Working Set bytes
Memory- Pages/sec
Process- sqlservr
Processor- % Processor Time
SQL Server access - Full Scan / sec
Network Interface - Bytes Total / sec

So, what did sysprocesses and the perfmon counters show?
Check this and see if it maybe matches your problem - Memory and SP2[/url]

your server could also be under too much parallel activity.
