I can't find Microsoft Pivot table services for sql server 2005 in the below link:

What version of Proclarity? Also, out of interest, why put it on a server? Asr you sure ir has the correct pivot table services installed and MDAC?
Here is the (I think) most up to date stuff from Microsoft (version 6.3)- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1fbeb8a0-25e6-4963-9cf2-b0a3c6852f49&DisplayLang=en
Hope this helps.

I found it on the download page (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=50b97994-8453-4998-8226-fa42ec403d17&DisplayLang=en):
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 PivotTable Services
PivotTable Services 8.0 is the OLE DB provider for SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services and is used to connect with an Analysis Services 2000 server. PivotTable Services does not work with SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services. Therefore, client applications that need connect to Analysis Services in both SQL Server 2000 and SQL Sever 2005 will need to install both PivotTable Services 8.0 and Analysis Services 9.0 OLE DB Provider in a side-by-side configuration.
