Processing cubes becomes very slow after virtualisation -urgent!!!!!

    Hi All,

    After we virtualised our SSAS production server(the virtualised one) and we try to run cubes from another prod SSAS server but not virtualised becomes very slow.But the data we are want to process is from the virtualised one.

    Before virtualisation everything was running fine.

    If we process cubes from the same virtualised box it runs fast and quick.

    Any ideas and this is urgent

    Things to check are the disk I/O and also the network performance. Based on you saying that when it's Virtual -> virtual, it's reasonably fast, it's more likely the network adapter than the I/O causing you issues. Do you have a dedicated network adapter (in the host machine) for the virtual server?
