Problems with Database backup

    I get the following errror when I try to backup my DB. I know that I have at least 10 the space available on the disk. I am running SQL 2000 with SP2 version 8.00.194. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Is this the case for every database or only a specific one ?????

    In other words is the backup failing just for this database or for all databases.

    So far I have tried to backup only one database (about 5 GB size).

    Did you check the Event Viewer logs, cometimes the error message is better there.
