Problems using SQL Server 2005 Lookup Transformation

    I am somewhat of a newbie to SQL Server 2005 and am getting very frustrated trying to use the Lookup Transformation in BIDS to work. It seems very confusing. I am simply trying to retrieve a value from a table to store in a variable which I want to include in my ouput column.

    Hi

    With the lookup transformation, there is no need to store any value in a variable. The steps for configuring it can be found here:

    Also, SQLIS.com has some excellent stuff.
