Problems in creating database snapshots

    Hi all,

    I am trying to create databse snapshots in my database through T-SQL. But it showing as 'Database Snapshot is not supported on Standard Edition'. But SQL server managemant studio is showing a folder database snapshots under database. Please advice.

    You can create Database Snapshots only in Enterprise edition. Its a sepearte folder that is maintained by the SQL server when you create database snapshots.
