I am trying to collect a bunch of perfmon counters on my Analysis Services box.
The perfmon counters include both SSAS-instance specific counters and other counters targetting a database-engine instance on the same box. However, only the non-SSAS counters appear in my output log file, and the SSAS counters are ignored.
Anyone seen this before?

I found the problem. The startup account for the Performance Logs and Alerts service has to be Local System. After doing that, the problem is gone!
