You are running the SQL Server Cluster installation or trying to add a node from the installer.
Use the Standalone SQL Server Installation option.

I have the disk resource running on the node on which Iām installing SQL. I have tried both the 2008 and 2008R2 install and have tried it on both nodes. I have rebooted a node before doing the install. Nothing worked.

I always put the quorum resource group on the physical node where I want to run the install.
