Problem with excel 2010 reports which use SSAS 2008 cube as datasource

    I am creating report in the excel 2010 with PivotTable component it work without issues. But, if I save, close and re-open one then I got error message:

    "excel found unreadable content in MyreportName.xlsx. Do tou want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."

    I press "Yes" and see message

    "Removed Part: /xl/pivotTables/pivotTable1.xml part. (PivotTable view)

    Removed Feature: PivotTable report from /xl/pivotCache/pivotCacheDefinition1.xml part (PivotTable cache)

    Removed Records: Workbook properties from /xl/workbook.xml part (Workbook)"

    Report opens but PivotTable does not work.

    I would be appreciate for your help.

    Yes, I have deleted translations and then my reports work without problem. Also, you can try to delete KPIs.

    but i need these translations.

    i delete KPIs http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929766/en-us but it doesnt help.

    i also check http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqlanalysisservices/thread/cea085fe-0d93-4fc5-99b9-6221d64a89cd

    and i already installed SP1

    You can try to delete transaction and create it again. You can do it on the test database and find out reason of this error.
