I am trying to create embedded datasources and datasets in report builder 3.0 that uses sql server 20008 r2. I do not want to use an annoymous user. I want to use my windows credentials that I log into. However I keep getting the error message stating that the report builder does not know who I am.
Can you tell me how to setup these credentials when:
1. I create a blank report, and
2. when a use the wizard to create a matirx report?

I had the same problem before and the problem was caused by Active Directory and the Security Settigs in SQL Server. Make sure u grant access to the report server database and add the same access to reporting services . also make sure that u have access to the database files u r trying to read. Even tho u give access thru reporting services or active directory u can still get no access because the file directory where the files are located are not set to be shared.
