Hi
Whenver i am trying to update certain records in the table with my application , it is not getting updated. The error message i am getting is : Invalid use of Null
One checking in the background by using profiler , i am not able to trace any query or SP being used to update the values in the table. It is just showing :
exec [DBname]..sp_columns_rowset N'v_DBname', NULL, NULL
Please let me know how to proceed on this.!!!!!!!

Check the table structure, and see if the column allows null values. post us the structure of the table you are trying to insert 😀

On few of the columns the not nl is not enabled. and application team is trying to insert the values from the form . Pls let me know if u need any more info

Hi Nikel

This seems fine, the basic is that if you enable the option not null to be true, you have to insert values to that filed, i m sure you will not be inserting all this values from a form, Personally i think that you are missing some data that has to be inserted to table,

To check change the table structure to allow null and run the application, this should insert, if it does then your developers have to check application, and you will also know where null is inserted
