Hello,
I currently have an instance of SQL Server 2019 Developer installed on my computer. I'm trying to uninstall it so that I can then install SQL Server 2022 Developer. I don't want two instances of SQL Server on my PC and since it's just a local development instance for my C# projects, I don't mind losing any data on it. However, I ran into a problem. When I tried to uninstall SQL Server 2019, Windows told me it couldn't find it and removed it from the list of programs in the control panel. But it is still on my pc because I can still connect to it from SSMS and everything. And no luck trying to delete the installation folder myself, Windows doesn't want to because the instance is running.
Does anyone of you guys have a solution for this please? I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advanc

Download the installation media of sql 2019 developer and startup setup. You may get the option to repair / uninstall it
