  • What edition of SQL Server 2012? Enterprise? Standard? Express? Developer?

I assume you mean SP1? Did you try to download and install it? A quick search on your favorite search engine will take you the MS download page.

  • Based on what you are saying I think you mean SP1 (Service Pack1)... And is this SQL Server 2012 Express?

You may just need to run Service Pack 1.

    What Sean said above.

  • All that means is you have an out-of-date copy of Windows 7.

Assuming it's a legal copy, you can use Windows Update to get SP1, and then you'll be fine. If it's a pirate copy of Windows, you'll need to buy a legal copy, then update that. I only mention that because Windows normally defaults to updating itself when service packs come out, but pirate copies usually can't update.

  • yes it is sql server 2012 developer.i have windows7 home premium.Error says i need windows 7 sp1.now my question is i have home preium window 7 i am able to install window 7 SP1 if yes can somebody give me link please

  • i have legal windows7 home premium but i am not sure i am able to update it to windows 7 SP1 because its home premium thats different from windows 7. i am not have enough knowledge about it

  • It's not a link. In Windows, open the Start Menu, and type Windows Update. The top item that the search finds will (normally) be "Windows Update". Click that with your mouse, or hit the Enter key, and it will start the Windows Update application. Follow the directions in that. If you get lost in Windows Update and can't figure out how to update Windows, use Google or any other search engine and search for "Windows Update". Or get any IT professional to update your computer for you. It's a very basic task and most people can figure it out just by following the directions.
