Problem in installing SQL Client Tool

  Hi All

  We have install SQL Server 2005 Cluster (Enterprise Edition ) on Windows Server 2008 R2 . Its working fine .

  But I am to unable to install SQL Client Tools . Please see error below:

  Fatal Exception caught while installing package: "10"

  Error Code: 0x80070002 (2)

  Windows Error Text: The system cannot find the file specified.

  Source File Name: sqlchaining\sqlprereqpackagemutator.cpp

  Compiler Timestamp: Tue Aug 9 01:14:20 2005

  Function Name: sqls::SqlPreReqPackageMutator::modifyRequest

  Source Line Number: 196

  Please help me out to get rid of this problem .

  Are you installing off CD? It might make a difference if you copy it to the hard disk and install from there

  Have to tried installing the tools by themselves, without running setup.exe ?

  I think the file to run is called SQLTools.exe

  Please ensure that the subfolders of the Installation folder are properly named. Read more on this here
