Problem conneting remote client sql server 2000

  HI

  I'M TRAING  CONNECT TO SQL CLIENT WITH A REMOTE SQL SERVER. THERE ARE SOME MACHINES IT CONNECT BUT OTHEN DON'T.

  THEY SAY "SQL DO NOT EXIST"

  ALL COMPUTER HAVE SAME CONFIGURATION AND WINDOWS XP PROFESIONAL. I DON'T KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY DIFERENCE IN WINDOW XP PROFESIONAL VERSION.

  PLEASE IF YOU CAN HELP ME..

  Are all the computers trying to connect from the same network? From the machines that cannot connect to the SQL Server, are you able to ping it?

  Thanks, i got the problem; my firewall was blocking the computer
