Hi,
I went through the link to resolve the PRINT issue from the application which uses SSRS
http://wills-blog.com/?p=220&cpage=1#comment-106672
We have SQL Server 2005 database engine Enter prise edition x64 on Server A and only SQL Server Reporting Services on Server B.The ReportServer & ReportServerTemDb are on Server A. We also have applied SP3 on both Servers. We still have the Print Issue. I did not delete any KB updates. Here
1. Do I need to delete the KB updates from Server A or Server B? or from each individual user’s machine? (we have 800 users!!!!)
2.Even after having SP3, do we need to remove KB updates. If yes, is it from Server A or Server B? and please list the KB updates that we need to remove.
thanks

Hi,
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic278409-149-1.aspx
I went through this link too. But I did not get any solution for people having SQL Server 2005 x64 SP3. Its saying SQL Server 2005 SP2 will solve the issue. But have higher version SP3 & it should also fix the problem. Do I need to apply any Cumulative updates after appying SP3 to resolve this PRINT issue?

We resolved our print issue on Standard with SP3. From what I learned, a MS patch intentionally broke this control right around the time that SP2 came out hence SP2 did not take care of the issue.
We did not have to apply CU's to SP3, nor did we have to remove any patches from the server. I do remember coming across an article about the viewer control and depending on your implementation of SSRS, there could be a need to update that on the Report Server itself. We did not have to do this, but you may want to try Googling on Viewer Control, SP3 and Print Control.
Hope that helps!
