Previous not null value

    Hi all,

    Let us assume that we a time dimension and a measure based on the time (for eg, transaction quantity, ending balance etc).

    We have the ending balance for 5th June (100 peices) and after that we dont have transaction for this item at all. But I need a calculated measure that tells me the current balance.Means that when I select 7 or 8 th June I need to see the balance as 100. So it has to select the previous existing not null value and show that in this column. Do any one have any idea how to do it. Please reply me asap.

    Are you deriving the totals on a rolling basis or are they stored. Also, does the total continue to aggregate? Anyway I can see a sample small sample of data?
