I have created the first version of DW schema approx 23 tables. I am wondering what is the best approach to present the current iteration for discussion to our IT staff. This would be the first time I am presenting the whole DW schema to the group and I want to make sure what I have done thus far is clear and concise.
Unfortunately I only have an hour to present. My thoughts currently are to show the group the whole schema with a brief overview of the layout and strategy and then to walk through the main fact tables one by one (I have currently 9 fact tables the rest are dimensional tables) in detail i.e. discussing meaning of all fields. During this presentation I would briefly touch on the dimensional tables i.e. identify what is housed there generally.
Any ideas from anyone who has successfully done this before please let me know your ideas. My goal is to educate them on what is currently in the Schema and to get there feed back to improve the design.

Here are my two cents.
Reading your post I come to the conclusion you have designed a star-schema data warehouse following the dimensional model path. I also assume that having nine fact tables you have designed nine datamarts.
I do not think you will have the time to do everything you want in one hour.
I would start with a simple definition of datawarehousing and explain the basics of dimensional model, use *one* simple datamart as an example and explain how a star-schema works and how you plan to aggregate all those datamarts to become the final version of the corportate datawarehouse.
You are the architect, you are the one who knows about dimensional model - I wouldn't ask for feedback on the model. That does not means I would close the door to good and valuable feedback but you have to be in control.
As I say it before, just my two cents.

Thanks Pablo -- appreciate your suggestions. As of your post I already had my meeting(s) and you were correct I didn't have enough time which I knew going in but my PM had to be convinced otherwise once she was a part of 1 of 4 meetings she realized the amount of discussion/work required.
Again appreciate the feed back.
