Hi all,
i have to prepare a document about the details of our database. we may call it as data dictionary.
Suggestions, ideas are welcome about what and all can be included to enrich the document.
My idea is to give details about constraints, indexes, relationships between tables etc.
thanks,
regards

Typically a data dictionary contains info regarding tables, fkeys, indexes and also information regarding hard coded values in columns if any. Other than this it contains info regarding stored procedures, functions, and also user permissions and any other database features you have used. For ex: if you have used service broker you need to put that in also.

BI Documenter is also a pretty good tool. Creates a compiled HTML file.
We use this to distribute schema documentation to clients.
