Hi,
Finally I managed to convinced my company to give me some time to get prepared for EXAM 70-432. I'll get my MCTS Training Kit in the next days and some other books as well.
So far I am more familiar with SQL 2k & 2005, almost 4 years of experience. I also like to install a 2008 at home to prepare for my exam.
Which SQL Version is preferable if my focus is on passing the EXAM 70-432.
MSSQL 2008 or 2008 R2?
Or will there be no difference for my purpose?
Thanks

The exam is for SQL Server 2008, rather than specifically R2, but I don't think it would hurt to be aware of the extras with R2.

Problems solved by itself, there was a MSSQL 2008 Ent Evaluation within the kit.

I don't have an answer, but I want to point out that according to http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-432&locale=en-us:
Audience Profile
This exam has been updated for SQL Server 2008 R2.
Candidates should have one to two years of experience using SQL Server 2008 or two to three years of experience using a previous version of SQL Server. Candidates for this exam are IT professionals who have jobs in which database administration is their main area of responsibility, or they work in environments in which databases are central to their job roles. These job roles include the following:
IT generalists who work in environments in which SQL Server 2008 R2 is part of an overall solution
IT professionals who manage systems that run SQL Server 2008 R2
IT professionals who work with third-party applications that are built on SQL Server 2008 R2
Developers who build applications that use SQL Server 2008 R2
I think I'm going to use SQL Server 2008 R2 for studying.

Use either 2008 or 2008 R2.
I can count on one hand the number of changes to the database engine between 2008 and 2008 R2. The BI stack changed substantially, the database engine did not.
There's unicode compression and a few bug fixes, that's all.

Thanks for pointing that out. That is a relatively recent change. That also helps answer questions about how MS was going to settle the certification for 2008R2.
