Pre-requisite for running DTEXEC command

  • Hi,

I have a requirement where i need to run SSIS package in a brand new server. The Prod Support team has placed the SSIS package in the server. Now I would like to know what are the things i need to install (&what services should be running) to run SSIS packages using DTEXEC command.

Please note that this new server is a Production server. So please let me know the basic things that needs to be present , for the package to run.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Arunvijay,

You have to install "Integration Services" on the target machine. This is an option in the SQL Server installation wizard.
