When I right click on the databases and select the start power shell option it giving me the following error message.
Warning : Couldn't obtain SQL Server Service information. An attempt to connect to WMI on 'Ram-PC' failed with the following error: An exception occurred in SMO while trying to manage a service. --> Failed to retrieve data for this reques.
Please let me know the causes. Do I need to start any WMI service.

Some of the WMI errors are due to security settings. Check this web page for details.

Wow, not sure why that's not working. It's Microsoft's link, so I can't fix it. I think this is the same one.

Hi Grant, this link is working fine now but I didn't see COM Security tab in the My Computer Properties dialog box to check the Launch and Activation Permissions section
