Is it possible to edit and save DTS pkgs in SQL 2005 -- w/ the "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components" installed?

I thought this was imposible .. and that you needed a SQL 2000 instance to edit DTS pkgs.. Please confirm.

Yes, you can edit DTS package in SSMS when you have the DTS designer components installed. Right-click on the package in Management-Legacy-Data Transformation Sevices and select "Open...".
