Possible to block users?

    It would be great if I could block certain users, meaning I simply don't ever see their posts, and ideally they don't ever see mine. There is one very prolific poster here who is downright awful, rude, abrasive, and a stickler to an absolutely ludicrous degree. Everyone seems to agree, and most people seem to take a "don't feed the troll" tack, but I'd really rather just not even see this person's horrible insulting posts in the first place.

    Thanks for the suggestion, though I'm not sure this is a change we'd make anytime soon.

    I think you should. This individual is making your community a more abrasive, unfriendly place. All the all-stars have tried to rein him in and it has no effect whatsoever. I think this is a totally reasonable request that would benefit the whole site.
