Possibiity of SSAS Cube Backup

1 - Please suggest if we can take a backup of SSAS CUBE Backup(both 2005 and 2008)? if yes, then how? And also, is the restoration of that cube on a different server and deployement is that easy?
2 - If we take a backup of a Datawarehouse DB then will the related Cubes also be backedup?

You can also use AMO in C#, vb, poweshell, .... Or XMLA.

Backup scripts

When you take a backup it takes the entire db (cube, dims, data, ...). One don't get to select wich part it backs up.

So r u saying we don't take Cube backups (specifically) but Datawarhouse DB's backups?

Is it not recommended to take Cube backups?

I was talking about SSAS DB Backups, did you mean another thing when you were saying datawarehouse db?

Yes, SSAS DB Backup and Datawarehouse DB backups are one and same thing.... so my question is ... . Do we specifically need to take Cube backups when we have already taken Datawarhouse DB's backup?

your only option is to take a DB Backup.You can't backup specific cubes.
