Polybase and HA

    I am planning for HA environment and we are using Polybase and would like to use the PolyBase scale-out groups and would like to get some thoughts how that would work with DR. Any advise? Thanks in Advance!

    Adding more info! Hoping someone has any thoughts? Here is what I have outlined you for a 3- node cluster for read-only routing for AOAG. Do you see any issues with that?

    Node1 - Primary

    Node 2 - Secondary same location - Asynchronous/synchronous.

    Node 3 – Secondary (DR) – Asynchronous

    So app's config string use the ApplicationIntent= ReadOnly parameter for read-only queries, thereby letting us move those to read-only replicas. Write loads can still be handled by a single server. However, how does the polybase would handle scale out option in this scenario? Thanks in Advance!
