Folks,
I'm doing a simple poll on my blog on how often people validate their backups (and I'm testing our whether polls will be useful and interesting to folks who read my blog). If you're interested, check it out at Testing a new survey method: backup validation. So far the most popular answer is that backups are never validated
Cheers

The link is fixed - look - I can do databases - not Internet stuff, right? 😛
Thanks Steve

I am looking froward to the blog entry once you close the poll; the results look scary heh.

I can do databases
oh you do those too in your spare time Paul! LOL
we use Redgate and set the redgate extended stored procedure to 'verify', not sure if you want just native or 3rd party backups too.
