How should the passwords for the internal policy logins #MS_PolicyEventProcessingLogin## and ##MS_PolicyTsqlExecutionLogin## be configured? We recently upgraded to SQL 2008 R2, and I am getting notices not that passwords for these two logins are about to expire. They are currently set to use the OS password policy, which is set to require a change after x number of days. If I change the passwords, will that causes the policy routines to fail? How will the routines that use these know the new password? Should I set them to not expire?
Thanks for any help with this...

Those are system generated when SQL Server is installed. I would not change the password to those accounts. I cannot get to my instance of SQL 2008 at the moment but I don't believe they should have CHECK_EXPIRATION or CHECK_POLICY enabled.
