    I am trying to create a policy which will force my backups to all be placed in a specific filepath

    not sure how to do this

    any help would be very appreciated?

    I think there is an easier solution, the default location for backups is specified by the value of the BackupDirectory facet property - change it as needed and you are done.

    thank you, makes a lot more sense now

    I am also looking to implement a policy that will prevent people from creating objects in schemas that don't exist, and I really have no idea on how to proceed

    any ideas?

    Oh well... if the schema don't exist then users are NOT going to be able to create objects on them so, creating such a policy would equate to a "don't use the elevator" sign in a place with no elevator at all 😉
