Hello all...
Im stuck and cant figure out how to do this...Here is the situation...Yesterday, a programmer emails me and says that he got a request to not show old records in the application so he asks me to delete all the records before a certain date...So I backed up the db, and deleted the old records...Now today he comes to me and says he messed up and it was his fault b/c he told me to delete them when they just wanted the application not to show the older records but not to delete them...So now I am supposed to insert the records that were deleted yesterday into the table...So at first I was just going to restore from where I backed up before I deleted but that would mean I would lose all the records that were entered in from the time I deleted to present time...So I restored the backup on my local...So I have a table on my local that is what the table looked like before I deleted and I have the table on production that has the records that have been entered in since the deletion plus the records that I didnt delete yesterday...I need to insert the records that are on my local to the production table where there are no duplicates...
What do I do? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
