  is is possible to produce a pivot table type of report, the source data is

  Product Description Qty

  ProdA Descr1 Qty1

  ProdA Descr2 Qty2

  ProdA Descr2 Qty2

  ProdB Descr1 Qty4

  ProdB Descr2 Qty5

  ProdB Descr3 Qty6

  the report to look like this

  Description ProdA ProdB...etc.

  It is.  Search here for rows to columns or PIVOT or ... + in SQL 2k5 it is by using PIVOT keyword....
