PIVOT function in SQL SERVER 2005

    When I try to run this, I get Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'FOR'..Can anybody help me with this?

    select * from #temp t1

    PIVOT (DayToreceive

    FOR DayNo IN ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7])) as a

    you're missing an aggregate function over the column DayToreceive.
