Hello experts..
Though am not sure if this is the right forum for my issue, still posting..
I have an issue with my Production SQL server box. I have windows 2003 server on which SQL server 2000 is installed.
The box having 8 GB RAM.
From past few days, it has been observed that, PF usage is occupying 6.7 GB where as when i checked under processes tab in Task manager, the total amount of Mem usage is not exceeding 2 GB. but in Task manager, under Performance tab, PF usage is showing 6.7 GB used.
Where is rest memory gone...?
When i checked even viewer, am seeing some errors with event id 17052 Error "Communication link failure" ....does it cause any mem issues?
Please help me in fixing this issue.

There doesn't appear to be any issue to be fixed. As has been noted in several articles and forum posts, Task Manager on 32-bit systems does not accurately report the correct usage of memory.
When using AWE memory - this shows up as PF Usage.
