Permissions to change/ disable SQL job schedule

  I need to provide a user permissions to Permissions to change/ disable SQL job schedule .

  But I cannot provide user sysadmin role for security reasons.

  please suggest how i can provide the access without giving sysadmin rights.

  I have given access to the tables in msdb, but its of no help.

  I checked the web and there was a solution to create a proxy account, but i am not sure how. will it help?
