permissions on a report in a folder

    Hello All,

    We have an SSRS in which we have a Repfolder and some reports(rep1,2,3,4) in a folder.

    We are trying to give access an Active Directory group to a specific report rep3 in a RepFolder

    and the users for that report get access denied insufficient permission.

    But if we add them at Folder leve(RepFolder) they can access the reports.

    Can you please let me know if we are missing something here..

    I think you should provide access to RepFolder first and it will be inherited to reports on that folder.

    If you want to modify the reports security then you have to modify separately each report.
