There are scripts for this, but I would like a short tutorial piece that shows how to query for all permissions that a user has in a database for all objects. Show how to limit the query for tables/views/procs, etc. and how to limit by permission type.
Bonus for including a way to get all objects and display "no permissions" rather than the permissions a user has.
Think of an auditing report.

I guess I will take this one as well :w00t:

Thanks, but please don't commit to a second until the first one is done. Entirely too many people do this and don't write them.

Hi,
Is this topic up for grabs? I am going through the process of writing some reports for auditors right now, so I am thinking I can give this one a shot.
Thanks,
Camille

Steve,
If you want to pass this on to Camille I am fine with that; my schedule has picked up a good bit so it would take me some time to get to this anyway.
