  I am in the process of trying to prove a point with my department.   We have a database that they run SQL Profiler on during peak business hours.  This is a daily event.   I know that SQL Profiler can cause performance issues, but what I am hoping to gather from you is documentation and resources that back this up.

   

  So...the question of the day is, where can one of your brethren find documentation that states running Profiler causes a performance hit?
