I think you are stating that the query is well written and that you are asking how long should it take to run? Please correct me if I am wrong on those assumptions.
If that is your question, the answer is how long is a piece of string?
The duration of a query is down to a number of factors. Size of the table(s), indexes, statistics and good optimized code. Also, the load on the server in terms of CPU, memory, disk IO etc can play an important part.
It would be ideal if you could send some more information, such as the query, table/index ddl and the duration you are seeing.

A query is said to be a good query... until someone finds a way for it to run faster. 😀
In truth, if the query contains RBAR of any sort, it's not usually a good query because it usually CAN be written to be faster and more scalable while using fewer resources. 😉
