I have a 64 bit windows server 2003 OS and SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition 32 bit.
Is it possible to enable AWE on the SQL Server as we are able to use only 4GB of RAM out of 16 GB of RAM.
Can Lock pages in Memory be enabled for this configuration.
The Server is performing very poorly due to this as it is unable to use the physical memory

On a 64 bit box you don't need to explicitly enable AWE. If you have a 32 bit you would need to make changes to PAE switch to make use of more than 4 gb of RAM.
I am not clear on 'we are able to use only 4GB of RAM out of 16 GB of RAM' ? Have you setup a cap on how much memory sql should use?
