I've installed the files from Microsoft's site and run the setup script, but I'm not getting the option in the GUI to view the reports. Does anyone have any ideas that may help explain this?
I do have SP2 installed and the CPU frequency set to always on as the documentation recommends.

did you run setup.sql too ?
If you're viewing from a client the client needs updating too.

You need to run setup.sql against each instance you would like to monitor.
You need to open "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\PerformanceDashboard\performance_dashboard_main.rdl" in Management studio, by right click the server or database and choose, Reports, "Custom Reports".

You must have SP2 on the CLIENT tool too
