I posted this a little while back where we updated our servers with a recent patch. I don't recall the exact patch but it was released about 3 months ago or so. When we applied this patch it regressed a previous patch that fixed the way the database list was displayed. If anyone has seen it database lists take forever on some servers where there are about 200 database on it. I believe it was SP2 that corrected this and the post SP2 fix broke that corrected function. Has other people seen this and is there a resolution other than rolling back, which doesn't seem as secure.
Thanks for any input!

Can you post the Knowledge Base article and the hotfix link for both what the fix was that went into SP2 and what the hotfix is that broke it?

Reapply SP2, it should reset all correctly. This happen to one of our divisions. Even though we do not recommend applying any fix until it is done in the test environment, every now and then, one of our DBA's does things without testing it first. Since then, we have restricted policy to apply any fix or sp.
That was our case, of course. To search use the "Search option in the menu bar of SQL Server Central (next to "Contest") and search by the parameters setup there. Good luck.
