I need to move some DTS packages to a new server that were password protected by a previous DBA. These are stored in SQL. The old server is 7 the new server will be 2000. The passwords are unknown.
Has anyone any experience with this or any ideas?
Thanks,
Kathi

I did a quick search on the web but didn't turn up anything. I'll keep looking. However, this may be a case where you need to get in touch with Microsoft.

I just found an article here written by Andy Warren about automating the transfer of DTS packages . I am doing some testing on password protected packages. I'll post what I find out.
Thanks for your help.
