Hi I have an access.adp project how can i password protect it I have looked for tutorials and it states encrypt via the File - Info tab but this option is not avaialble on .adp projects? is there an alternative

In general the answer is no, although there is the ability to hide the VBA logic behind forms and reports by creating an ADE if the version of Access you are using supports that option. Note that the current version of Access (and presumably all future versions) does not support the ADP format. Security in Access in general has been a source of confusion and of change. What is your objective in wanting to password protect your ADP project?

just wanted to restrict unauthorized access, i just created a login form as an alternative
