Hi,
I had change the pasword of SA using sp_password and the password changed successfully, but when i see syslogins in mater database the password of sa in empty.
Is there anything wrong why it is showing empty in the password field.

How are you viewing the syslogins view, via Enterprise Manager or Query Analyzer??
When you say "...it is showing empty...", do you mean it's an empty string or NULL?

syslogins is a view on sysxlogins. In the view, the password field is converted from varbinary to nvarchar.
sysxlogins is an undocumented table, and as such any use is not supported. The view filters sysxlogins on the srvid field which excludes the additional sa logins.
