passing a value from a main report to a subreport

  OK...Can anyone suggest a resource that will walk a newbie through this. I am doing something wrong and it's probably something very small. All I am trying to here is pass a value when click from a main report to a sub report as a parameter.

  I have been working on this all day. Are there any tutorial books or any other type of literature available if so please tell me where.

  I need the subreport to toggle when the main report value is clicked. Everything needs to be on the same report.
