  I found an excellent article the subject of passing "Arrays of Data" to a stored procedure at this site:

  It describes using both a delimited string as well as an XML string to simulater passing arrays of data into a stored procedure. It works great....

  I much prefer passing XML, nicer format, lots of flexibility.
