Hi everybody,
our server reached today the maximum of 1000 partitions.
There are some partitions with rows = 0.
For example:
Is it possible to delete these partitions to get free "partitions".
These is one example:
partition_id object_idpartition_numberrowsdata_compression_descfunction_idboundary_idparameter_idvalue

there is a patch to enable 15000 partitions what is your exact sql server edition\version?
