Paging on Profile for "Replies Created" is Missing

  • When I go to my profile ( https://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/user/jeff-moden ) and click on "Replies Created", it takes me to the first page of the latest 15 replies I've created.  There doesn't appear to be any way to get to any of the other pages of replies.  IIRC, there used to be.  It's just not there anymore.

UPDATE.  When I first go to the first page, there's a brief flash of the "paginator" where it's supposed to be but it quickly disappears.  When I go to someone else's profile and click on "Replies Created" the "paginator" appears in the upper right just as it always has.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

  • You don't see pages at the top?

  • Ah... figured it out Steve... quite by accident, as well.

    Here's what I'm seeing...

I didn't want to post such a large graphic and so I zoomed out to only 70% and this is what I see (and didn't think of zooming out because there was no scroll bar at the bottom of the page)... the "pagenator" was way to the right off screen and became visible when I zoomed out...

The culprit is that one of the posts apparently has something wrong with it... perhaps not breaking spaces or some such... here's that...  it drove everything over to the right off the screen.  Only zooming out allowed me to discover it.

This reminds me of the issues we had with the original software way back when I first joined SSC.

I just need to zoom out on issues like this.  No further action required unless you think it's needed.

Thank you for taking notice on this.  I really appreciate it.

EDIT:  Of course, this is what the site gave me the first time I tried to post it <headdesk>

  • Good point. There shouldn't be a need to scroll over for the counter. I suspect they have forgotten to put the page numbers in a table or div that keeps them visible. I'll file a note.
