There is package on 2005 and job is on 2008 R2 pointing to a package on 2005. Both are 64 bit with exact same permissions and account. Job fails with below error message. Any ideas on how to make this work
"TS_ExecPackage Description: Error 0xC0019305 while preparing to load the package. The attempted operation is not supported with this database version."

The error indicates that the package is 2008 and trying to run on a lower version of SQL. Could you confirm your package is 2005 and not 2008R2?

I am pretty sure that was the case, i will have to set up the environment once again to get that error message. Btw we just plan to open a case with MSFT on this. Thanks
