We are trying to hook up our outlook forms on an exchange server to work with the sql server database on another NT 4.0 Server. However, even by creating a dsn connection from this exchange server to the sql server, the forms do not seem to work? can anyone explain why not? i would this think this should work the same way as ASP connection. Let me know

It should work the same. Connection is a connection. Might want to test stand alone, using VB or VBScript just to see if there is something else going on - network issue, bad/missing MDAC, etc.

Andy,
We have tried the forms on stand alone client pc and its able to connect to the database on a server using the user dsn. The real question we have is, is it possible for client scripts using vbscript to connect to the sql server based on the dsn residing on the exchange server?
any feedback would help
